Gynecologic care

Our gynecologic services includes but is not limited to:

  • Annual well-woman and preventive exams
  • Contraceptive counseling and management
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination

Urogynecologic care

Our gynecologists have special training in treat urogynecologic issues — conditions affecting your reproductive organs, bladder and rectum. This area of the body has complex connections, and we are experienced in treating pelvic disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.

Gynecologic procedures and surgery

From routine in-office procedures such as birth control insertions to more complex surgery such as hysterectomies, our OB/GYNs have the experience and care to treat your symptoms.

In-office procedures

Our providers can perform several routine procedures right in our office, including:

  • Colposcopy
  • Contraceptive implant insertion and removal
  • Fractional CO2 laser treatment
  • Intrauterine device (IUD) counseling and insertion
  • Loop electrosurgical excisional procedure (LEEP)

Minimally invasive and robotic surgery

We offer minimally invasive surgery using robot-assisted techniques for gynecologic and urogynecologic conditions. Our gynecologic surgeons perform procedures that used to require a large open incision, like a hysterectomy, with only three to four tiny incisions that are only a dime-length across. Robotic surgery offers many benefits, such as:

  • Less blood loss
  • Reduced scarring
  • Less risk of infection
  • Shorter hospital stay (typically 24 hours)
  • Shorter recovery (typically two weeks)

At our partner hospital, we perform a range of gynecologic surgeries and procedures, including:

  • Bilateral tubal ligation
  • Conization of the cervix
  • Diagnostic laparoscopy
  • Dilation and curettage
  • Endometrial ablation
  • External cephalic versions
  • Fibroid surgery
  • Fractional CO2 laser treating vaginal atrophy/dryness
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy
  • Pelvic organ prolapse surgery
